SAKRET BAK reinforcement and gluing mortar
SAKRET BAK is a cement based mortar for gluing and reinforcing stone wool and expanded polystyrene thermal insulation boards.
SAKRET BAK advantages:
- Reinforced with polypropylene fiber;
- With adhesion and flexibility enhancing additives;
- Included in certified insulation system SAKRET ETICS EPS and SAKRET ETICS MW;
- Water vapor permeable;
- Water and frost resistant;
- Gray.
Application of SAKRET BAK:
Reinforcement of thermal insulation boards
Apply SAKRET BAK on the thermal insulation board in an even layer (up to 5 mm), pull out with a notched trowel, insert the alkali-resistant reinforcing mesh into the mass and level with a flat trowel so that the reinforcing mesh is completely covered with SAKRET BAK. If the thermal insulation board is made of mineral wool, then SAKRET BAK is first rubbed on the surface of the board.
Bonding of thermal insulation boards
If the wall is flat (unevenness <10mm / m), apply SAKRET BAK with a notched trowel (tooth size – 12 mm) on the entire surface of the thermal insulation board and glue to the substrate. If the wall is uneven, apply SAKRET BAK on the edges of the thermal insulation boards (~ 5 cm wide and 2 cm high) and place 6 lumps of material on the surface of the boards, then glue to the wall. If the thermal insulation board is made of mineral wool, SAKRET BAK is first rubbed on the surface of the board.
