Wood pellets “Staļi”
High quality wood pellets. Dried shavings and sawdust are used in their production. Dried sawdust and shavings were ground in a mill and pressed using 6 mm diameter dies.
Increasing the pressure raises the temperature of the raw material needed to activate the lignin from the wood fiber cells. Lignin contains granules together. No other binders are used in the production of pellets.
Wood pellets are a biomass fuel. Biomass allows the absorbed solar energy to be used for space heating. Wood pellets are a renewable fuel that is environmentally friendly and burns to generate heat.
